Where is patient data hosted?
In India only: in our Mumbai cloud region, or a sovereign Indian cloud for Enterprise customers. Hosting is designed so that patient data stays in the country, with the DPDP Act 2023 in mind.
Can you move our data from our current HMS?
Yes. We have importers for the HMS products commonly used in India. Demographics, history and billing records move across, and migration is included in every Hospital and Enterprise onboarding.
What happens if our internet goes down?
The Carexa desktop client keeps reception, OPD and billing running locally. When the connection returns, it syncs the changes to the cloud automatically.
How does Carexa work with ABDM?
Carexa is built for ABDM. ABHA creation and verification, Scan & Share registration, consent-based record sharing and HPR and HFR lookups are part of the everyday workflow, not a separate module.
Do you support specialty workflows?
